Jack Hammer
In the kid I know made good department, Jack Hammer. Brandon Barrows, friend of Athra, the violent hordes following Athra, and yours very truly, is the driving force behind Jack Hammer. Our boy has partnered with Action Lab Comics to deliver Jack Hammer: Political Science, a full-fledged graphic novel. Check the preview over at Action Lab and make with the pre-order action.
Although Jack Hammer is not, sadly, bristling with barbarians, we the leaders of the legions following Athra are not bigoted against other genres and we have deep respect for a good noir, the category into with Hammer so squarely falls. Take a chance and trade, for the moment, swords, shields, helmets, maidens, battle-axes, and horses for trench coats, blazing 45′s, fedoras, dames, and slugs, crank the hand on the side of the box so you can pop this Jack and check it out.
We’d be remiss is we didn’t mention the devastating talent displayed in this book by one Mr. Ionic. The art in this book is good. Really good. A rarity as far as independent books are concerned. Major props, therefore, to Mr. Ionic.
